Think About It, 02.1 Plato: A cat? The idea! - Beginner

Characters: Kelsey, Plato P: Ouch! K: Oh! I'm sorry. P: It's alright. K: Did you see a cat? I think it came this way.

P: A cat?

K: Yes. It's milky white with orange stripes. Its name is "Tiger". P: I see. Why are you looking for this cat?

K: ...Well, it's my cat. P: Is it a perfect cat?

K: Perfect? Well, no. No cat is perfect. My cat sometimes bites people.

P: No cat is perfect. That is true. But in this world, nothing is perfect. Only ideas of perfect cats are perfect.

K: Pardon?

P: Ideas. Your cat isn't perfect because it is just a normal cat. But the idea of a perfect cat is perfect. All cats come from one idea of a perfect cat. But they become normal cats, and then they are not perfect.

K: ...I don't understand. P: You shouldn't look for your cat. Your cat isn't perfect. You must find the idea of a perfect cat. The idea of a perfect cat is better than your cat. Find the idea of a perfect cat. Then you will be happy.

K: Um... Maybe later.

P: Alright. But I think I saw your cat before. She went this way.

K: Ah! Thank you very much.
