Dr. Laura Anna, welcome to the program.
Anna: Yes, good afternoon. My question is: I'm receiving some anonymous notes, and my question: Dr. Laura How are they getting to you? Anna: Well, I work in a building and two weeks ago, I find the first note in my van.
Dr. Laura What's a "band?" Anna: In the van. It's a car. Dr. Laura Oh, so it's on your car. Anna: Yes, in my car.
Dr. Laura What do the notes say?
Anna: Well, first was, "Thank you for being my angel," or something like that, and then the notes were outer limit, you know? Like I can't say the things. Dr. Laura They got dirty?
Anna: Yes.
Dr. Laura Okay, did you recognize the handwriting?
Anna: No, I don't. I don't know anybody here in the building. Dr. Laura How many-well, somebody knows you. How many notes have you gotten, all in all?
Anna: I have seven notes.
Dr. Laura They all on your car?
Anna: Yes.
Dr. Laura Okay, you can set up a video tape, camera. You can set that up inside your car or what have you, if you've got a long-lasting battery, or find out how it's done, and you can actually take a picture of whoever's doing this. Then you can turn it all over to the police.
Anna: That's a very good idea. Dr. Laura So that's what I suggest you do. Are you a married woman?
Anna: Yes.
Dr. Laura Good. This is a guy's job. Guys know how to set up equipment.
Anna: Yeah.
Dr. Laura Our job is to be brilliant, they make it happen. All right, so have you told your husband about this?
Anna: No, I don't- Dr. Laura Well, you better show him the notes. Why would you not tell your husband?
Anna: Because I thought at first, he's going to thought- Dr. Laura That you're messing around. Anna: Yes.
"You're cheating"- Dr. Laura Are you married to a nutcase? Anna: No.
Dr. Laura All right, then show these notes to your husband, stop treating him like you think he's a nutcase. You're telling me you don't want him to know because he's going to think something bad about you, but you're telling me you think something bad about him-that you can't trust him. I can't have a marriage like that. Everybody's got to trust everybody. So, you know, try not to touch these anymore, put some plastic gloves on, stick them in a big envelope, put them under plastic or something. Have him see this, and tell him you talked to me and I said "Set up a camera." Tomorrow, you'll know who this is, maybe. Anna: Yes.
Dr. Laura Okay, now don't make a big deal about this, don't talk about it at work, don't tell anybody you're setting up a camera. Anna: Okay.
Dr. Laura And, you know, a fruitski like that is not listening to my show.
Anna: Okay.
Dr. Laura All right?
Anna: Thank you very much.
Dr. Laura All right, sweetheart.
Anna: Bye-bye.
Dr. Laura Bye-bye.
