A Backwards Guide to Everyday Life the Diary/Blog of Chris Sarda, My Hangover

My Hangover (listening to Sabaton-Art. Of War) I guess there's a pretty funny movie out right now called “The Hangover”. I'm told it's very ‘American' kind of comedy. When people define something as ‘American' they typically don't do it in a positive tone. The movie does look hilarious to me and I'm from Vegas and one of my favorite stand up comedians is in the movie so I probably will like it and I'm American so perhaps it is just for me. J With that said this isn't about the movie “The Hang Over” but amount my state at this moment or “my hangover”. I didn't drink that much last night but for whatever reason I'm feeling it. I met with a friend of mine here in Poland who I won't see for awhile because I'm going back home next week for a couple years at least and we had a couple beers. In the pub I drank four and then we went to his cousin's flat to play Pro Evolution Soccer and I drank two more beers. For whatever reason when I woke up I had a pretty bad hangover, a pounding headache, stomach hurt, and just a general sick feeling. 5 typically was the limit for me to just go out and not get too drunk and be fine in the morning but perhaps I'm getting older or maybe weaker. Thank god for ibuprofen (or ibuprom as it's called here in Poland). The headache hasn't returned but I still feel like crap, the headache is the big thing though during a hangover. When I drink I get very political and it's difficult to have that kind of argument when my Polish isn't to the level of being able to understand and express myself clearly and neither was my friend's cousin's English, but we figured it out. He didn't like my Dead Che Gueverra shirt that says ‘Communism Kills” on the bottom. You'd think someone from Poland would love it but for whatever reason Che gets the label of freedom fighter when he was just another communist (albeit maybe one with good intentions). My wife went out with her friends too and she was hung over too and didn't drink very much either, so today we're sitting here sick, but sitting here together. I'd prefer to be hung over together than healthy apart but such is life. Thanks for listening.
