Emma's Students Stories, Typhoon by Jerry

Yesterday, my teacher told us that tomorrow we would have a vacation, because a typhoon was coming. We prepared some food, some water and some lighters in case there was no electricity. I was just sitting in the living room, watching the news about the typhoon.

In the late night, the wind blew harder and the rain came down harder, too. The trees were blown by the strong wind and bent a lot. The sounds were very loud.

This morning, the typhoon had already left. I decided to take a walk around the streets. Some trees fell down. Some cars were damaged, but my dad's car is fine. Yeah!
