tdes, Where Are You? London-NZ

Hi, I'm Sarah, welcome to The Daily English Show. Thank you very much for the nice feedback on the new segment of the show: Question Time. That's going to be once a week - and we're going to ask people in the street a question. Last week we did it in Papakura – which is here in South Auckland - and there weren't many people in the street that day, so we went into the shops and asked people. Thank you very much to the people who agreed to answer a question on camera. And look out for us in a suburb near you … if you live in Auckland, that is.

I'd love to hear your suggestions for questions to ask people. So if you have a suggestion, please leave a comment, or send us an email: thedailyenglishshow@gmail.com We have a new poll on the site and this week it's a very easy question to answer: Where are you? And you can choose from: Africa, America, Antarctica, Asia, Europe and Oceania. I think that pretty much covers it. If you're in the middle of the ocean or on a plane between continents when you're answering the question, just pick the place that you're closest to. So please go and answer the question. It'd be fun to see where most people are right now. Last week's question was: What's your favourite section of a newspaper / news site? And general news and technology were first equal. They both got three votes.Business, sport, entertainment, health and everything all got two votes. And politics, crime, environment, cartoons and something else all got zero.

STICK NEWS Kia ora in Stick News today a New Zealand man is attempting to ride from London to New Zealand by jet ski. A 51-year-old Kiwi pilot is planning to jet-ski from London to New Zealand. And that was Stick News for Monday the 2nd of August.Kia ora.
