Vera's Diary for Beginners, VD # 022, Paris, the third day

VD # 022, Paris, the third day On the third day in Paris we went to the Louvre. The Louvre is one of the largest museums in the world.

There are a lot of paintings in the museum.

Even the most famous painting in the world is there.

It is the Mona Lisa.

Unfortunately, you cannot see the picture up close.

You can only see it at a distance of a few meters.

I think that's a pity. You can't see any details. After the museum we went to Paris Island.

On the island is the Old Town and the famous church of Notre Dame.

We walked through the Old Town.

The streets were full of tourists.

People from every country want to see Paris.

I wanted to get ice cream.

A scoop of ice cream supposedly cost 3 euros.

That was too expensive for me.

Therefore, I did not not eat any ice cream.

After that we rested a bit at the hotel.

In the evening we went to the Arc de Triomphe.

We climbed the 284 steps.

From there we had a nice view.

And finally, we walked along the famous street Champs Elysees.
