tdes, Bouts Of Hypochondria

Hi, I'm Sarah, welcome to The Daily English Show. Today's movie is called The Switch. This is one of those movies that pretty much tells you the whole story in the trailer. So you don't really have to watch the movie, you can just enjoy the trailer like a short film. It's a romantic comedy about a woman called Kassie who has a baby using a sperm donor. And her best friend, Wally, gets really drunk one night and swaps the donor's sperm with his own sperm. But he doesn't remember this, and seven years later he finds out …and you can imagine what happens at the end. At one point in the trailer, Kassie and Wally are on the phone and I think Wally's trying to tell Kassie that she shouldn't be with the guy that she's seeing. He says: I think that this guy is a mistake. And she says: Would you please not Wally this into a situation. And he says: Hang on, did you just use my name as a verb? She says: Yeah, I did. Wally is very neurotic , which means: abnormally sensitive and obsessive . So he probably often gets unnecessarily worried about things and so she has made his name into a verb. To wally something into a situation means, I guess, to make something into a big deal when it isn't.
