What is Spotlight? Spotlight radio programs use a special English method of broadcasting that many people can understand. Each 15-minute program uses: •a vocabulary of about 1500 words (our word list) •a speaking speed of about 90 words each minute (about half of the normal speaking speed). •short, simple sentences You will hear Spotlight programs about many different subjects.
